The next skill is about making a ball of energy often called Chi/Psi ball. This skill doesn’t have a lot of use, but is highly useful for practicing a few basic, but core practices which will help you get a sense of the Force. You may hear people talk about seeing their ball. That’s called flaring and its advance technique. For the purpose of simplicity I would advise simply mastering psi ball. For those getting bored you can practice making a ball in each hand, big/small balls, when tired, hungry, or distracted, how fast you can make a ball or throwing one if you have a in person partner. You’ll want to research those advance techniques.

Step 1. Feel the Force.
Follow the 1,2,3 steps I just taught you. Now that you know what the Force feels like, find it and let that feeling grow inside of you. Let the feeling magnify.

Step 2. Feel the Flow of the Force flows through you and around you at all times.
Think of it like dust or a mist. Dust is everywhere and floats its own way. Imagine the Force like a blue mist (you can pick any color you want). The blue mist is flowing through your arms, your head, lets, feet, everywhere. You can feel the flow and direct it. I want you to direct the flow first from your head down into your hands. Then from your feet into your hands. Remember to breathe.

Step 3. Make the Ball
Physically hold your hands out like you are cupping a baby bird you don’t want to squish. Your hands should not touch each other. Take the energy into your hands and direct into the space between your hands. Slowly form a ball. You can form it anyway you want.

Result: You should be able to feel the ball of energy between your hands. It should feel like your hands are being pushed away, like two magnets that you can’t push together. The ball shouldn’t be super solid, but enough there that it feels like a ball.
Tips: Some people struggle to get the Force to flow. Remember not to force it down (no pun intended). Breathe, let it flow gently and naturally. Flow energy on your out breath as you breathe. For those struggling to feel the ball or form it, pick up some clay, mud, playdoh, or kinetic sand. Form a ball. Watch Avatar the Last Airbender to get a visual on what I mean on swirling energy into a ball.
