Psychological First Aide (Mystic Course 1)

PURPOSE: A Jedi Mystic’s role is to become a spiritual guide to their fellow Jedi. While this can include celebration, it sometimes also requires us to be present for their emotional turmoil as well. We are not licensed professionals, instead we are Jedi here to provide peer support. As such, in alignment with our belief in working to overcome Recklessness, Jedi Mystics are trained in the basics of Psychological First Aide to help develop skills which can help us become more attentive and empathetic to those whom the Force brings to us. These lessons do not make us infallible, nor do they qualify us to work in place of a professional- know your limits.
